I will initiate and facilitate your Board and CEO assessments to ensure good governance, identify critical issues, strengths, and areas for improvement. 

I work with your Nonprofit Board of Directors to create customized training to ensure that all board members are fully knowledgeable about their positions, understand their basic fiduciary duties, and can apply good governance practices.

If you would like longer term support, I am happy to work with your board on an ongoing basis to help identify & address issues that may arise, manage a change process, and support implementation of new software or processes as needed. As a consultant I can support the health of your board, and the tensions that can often run a bit high, by remaining an objective 3rd party perspective and knowledge around subjects that can often end up feeling personal. 

• Perform an assessment of your accounting systems, internal controls, and related processes. 
• Provide a detailed, actionable report outlining recommendations on how to ensure risk management oversight, best practices, and compliance on a financial operations level. 

• Review current practices and identify areas for development or improvement
• Develop or update systems & coding for tracking grant revenue & expenses to best support your org's reporting requirements 
• Ensure compliance with funder requirements
• Streamline workflows and processes
• Create a detailed process manual for your organization, and provide staff training as needed.
